If you crave crispy and salty, then I got a perfect alternative for you: kale chips! They are incredibly nutritious, tasty and very easy to make. I just can't believe it took me a whole year to try this recipe. I heard so many people raving about them and now I know why. They are awesome.
Ok, here is how you make them:
1) Get a bunch of fresh kale (at a health store or local farmers market).
2) Tear it into pieces, no stems.
3) In a bowl, mix kale pieces with some olive oil, salt, pepper and little lemon juice (and any other seasoning you like). Massage the oil and spices into the leaves with your hands.
4) Put everything on a cookie sheet.
5) Bake on about 250F for about 20 mins before they start getting brown. Watch out -- they burn very quickly!
6) Take out and enjoy as much as you want!
