Can you relate to this scenario: You had quite a busy day, had almost no breaks to rest, got so much done, yet there is still so many unchecked things on your to-do list? Or the whole list is actually completed but all you think about now is your to-do list for tomorrow?
This is very common, and especially in a super-high-paced modern city life. Yes, we can always plan less things and prioritize, but the easiest and simplest way is to actually pause for a second and count all the good things that happened today. And, most importantly, feel good about them. This actually changes your mindset from “never enough” to “abundance”. Think about all good moments you experienced today, all smiles you created, all pleasant feelings, the small or big things you learned, the freebies you got. If you accomplished something, take a few seconds and feel good about it. Let your brain rest. There is always something good about your day (every day!) and all you need to do is to create a good habit of noticing it. It feels weird at first, but it really does work – it instantly makes you happier and more satisfied. It’s like that famous saying about the glass half-empty or half-full: you always have this choice.
So, let’s say it is now 8 PM and you’re feeling a bit stressed out – what do you do? That’s right: list at least 5 goods things about your day!
