Definitely fell of the wagon. Not completely, of course, but this is not a Body Ecology diet at all. Way too much natural stimulants such as raw chocolate, white/green tea, agave, etc. I am again craving energy, sugar and caffeine and my skin still sucks. What kind of health is that? I need to cut these things for at least several month, so my system can come into balance. I was also not following the food combining rules and 80% full rule. And to top it all off - 2 glasses of wine and partying last night. Great.
Partly, this is because I started exercising. My metabolism is getting faster and my body is getting stressed out, so I feel that I need to eat more, when in fact I should simply eat more often. I should not wait till I get super hungry. Somehow I need to find this balance between eating right and exercising. I know it should be easy, but for me it's actually hard.
Yesterday I went to a 3 hour salsa dancing workshop which was great but also added to this physical stress. I know, I'm so pathetic and fragile (I have a sore throat today) but that's why I started working on my lifestyle anyway. If they pick me to be on their Santa Barbara salsa team, I will have to do my best in order to keep the healthy balance and not get sick or overwhelmed. Because that's how I screwed up all my recent athletic endeavors - I always overdid it and had to quit. Running in the morning should help me to improve my stamina and get me used to physical exercise. And dancing will bring joy and excitement into my life. :) But if they don't pick me, I'll be fine too. Maybe it's too early to take on the challenge like that, running alone should be enough for now. So, we'll see, but I'm back on my grains and veggies this morning - no more raw chocolate and caffeine!
