Day 27 - 28

1/31/2011 – Day 27
I am definitely eating more natural sweets than BED allows, but I am on a healthy diet nevertheless.  I did not have enough energy this weekend to do all the things I wanted.  I also don’t look very hot.  I’m pale and my skin is not great.  And I couldn’t talk to my Mom this weekend – I got extremely irritated, exhausted and said the things I really didn’t mean.  (By the way, I think a lot of every day family quarrels come from the lack of energy.  No energy – better not interact, especially if you are the one initiating the conversation.)  So I blame it on antibiotics.  But I should probably cut on the stimulants like chocolate, even if it’s raw and not sugar-sweetened.  Spent about $200 more on Dr. Mercola and Sunfood.com websites, but that’s all health investments.  J  One day I will not need any superfoods.

2/1/2011 – Day 28
Last night we had our last Food Group meeting.  My candida number went from 18 to only 4, which is great because I was not following the diet strictly and ate more natural sugar than BED allows.  Still much better than I used to do!  The food group was very helpful.  It definitely helps you to stay more committed and not fall off the wagon easily.  In your everyday life you encounter lots of people who are very skeptical about the diet, so it helps to sometimes be around people who are the opposite.  I read that if you have a dream, try to hang out with people who are supportive and avoid people who are not.  So, the food group meetings make sense, even if you are very motivated anyway.  Let’s see how I do now without it.  J

Also, my new development is no gmail and facebook while at work.  So far it does miracles – I stay focused, I’m less stressed out, I get less tired, my eyes are not always glued to the screen.  Will definitely stick to it!

Also, I have been eating organic local strawberries and blueberries every day lately.  I just craved them, but I also remember that they are perfect “cleansing” food.  Very true, they are amazing and totally satisfy all sugar cravings.  I can feel that they made antibiotics less damaging.  And cranberry juice:  last night Pam (the Intuitive) told me that I’m allergic to store cranberry juice or pills, but that I should make my own cranberry juice from good quality berries.  Makes sense and should protect me from UTIs in the future.  Today I took my last antibiotic pill!  J
