1/6/2011 – day 2
So yesterday was a perfect beginning day. I called in sick, rested all day, listened to Donna Gates Detox Training, did coffee enema (sorry, but it's a health blog), took relaxing bath with salts & oils, ate the lightest and healthiest food on earth, and even ran on the beach! So wonderful. I even had a great mellow and pleasant conversation with my Mom for an hour without getting super irritated and exhausted in the end. The only down side – I did not sleep well, most likely because of coffee.
Today I am feeling ok, not super energized or happy, but better than before.
What important I learned from the detox training, is that indeed, BED diet, exercise, rest, water treatments, and occasional enemas are completely enough for the detox. There is no need to enroll in any crazy detox programs or procedures. The turtle strategy is the best here. So I am going to do just that, taking LivAmend as the only supplement for now (including of course Cocobiotic and Dong Quai which are the powerful detoxifiers themselves). And what a perfect timing too! Winter is a perfect time to go slow and rest a lot before the spring natural detox process. J
1/7/2011 – day 3
Feeling pretty terrible – very tired, very sleepy, foggy, very bored at work, can’t focus, crave sugar and coffee terribly. I’m only writing it for the record, by the way. J I know it will pass because it is a natural detox reaction.
But there is also a highlight – hubby took me to jump on a friend’s trampoline and it was super awesome, as well as a great workout and lymph drainage. And totally encouraged by BED!

Just cheated. Ate some sugar sweets. L Damn it! Ah! How miserably weak am I?? NO MORE CHEATING!!
1/11/2011 – day 7
Still feeling pretty tired, especially yesterday. Had to drink some white tea (contains caffeine) and boy did I enjoy that caffeine energy! That what makes office work exciting. I missed it so much. It’s incredible what transformation this little tea bag makes! You get super motivated and interested in your projects. But today is a new day. Spent a weekend by myself (my husband went skiing), which I really needed to pull myself together. Cooked, cleaned, shopped for food. Semi-cheated only once with those coconut-carob things from Lazy Acres (my favorite health food store) which I ate to get motivated for my house cleaning done. But there is no real sugar in them anyway, so it’s not a big deal. Last night had an amazing dinner at the Food Group again with that miso salmon that is incredible (the recipe is pretty much: marinate salmon in plastic bag with miso for several hours and then sear it for 1 minute of each side; no salt or spices needed). Keep running at the city college too which makes me feel stronger both physically and emotionally. And hot baths. And LivAmend supplement. Hopefully, I will start feeling great soon. But if not, I still trust the “turtle strategy”. J I am on the right track.
